Helsinki....2nd June 2008      (Be aware this will be long lol)

Well we set off from home at 7.30 am and got the train to Liverpool, then got the London train from Lime Street, was delayed on the way so got into London at 1pm, walked to Victoria Bus Station and got the transfer coach we had booked to Stansted Airport, but the traffic was so bad it took longer to get out the city, anyway got to the airport and had some tea (dinner) and then went thru to departures, took forever cos all our luggage was checked. Flight was on time and arrived at Tampere at 10.30 pm (2 hours ahead in Finland) got on the transfer bus and it was 2 ish hours to Helsinki. Got off the bus and asked the bus driver how we get to the Old Icehall Arena so he said get the train, any train and get off after 1 stop, so we did, got off and asked directions, was told to go to the end of the platform and follow signs, which we did, til it was like a dirt track, and then a dark tunnel, by this time i was pretty scared so was Sam, and when we got there it was deserted, so I called Sonia who told me i had been directed to the new Arena, and it was the wrong one, well to cut a long story short we walked for an hour back and round the area looking for a taxi, ended up at a big hotel who got us one, and we got to the arena, I was cold, crying like a lunatic and very tired ( i had only had half an hours sleep the night before..too hyper) anyway Hilda, Jen, Nina and Sonia were already there, Jen and Son had been there for 2 days!!  we got blankets and had a couple of hours sleep. Had a great day, all got dressed up in rave stuff, bright jeans, Hilda had made us tees in bright pink with " Deadly Fangirl Assassination Squad.. Here To Assist You" on the front and " Dial 6277 for Assistance" on the back, and we all had red sweatshirts with our names on the front and a line from Buddha For Mary, and on the back " Live...Die...Bleed... Motherfucking Fantasy" on the back, for those who have been to a 30 gig, Jared always says that before doing The Fantasy so it was awesome, anyway they let us in at 7 but so badly organised that us at the front actually got in after those who came later, so werent barrier although a few passed out in front of me n Sam so we did eventually get barrier in front of Tim. Anyway, they played the best gig I have ever been to, I thought Birmingham was awesome but this was better, they had the time of their lives, Jared was in amazing form and Tim & Tomo rocked harder than ever, and as for my Shanman, well Ive never seen him play as hard, he stood up loads cos he was playing so hard, Sam videoed Battle Of One and he stands twice in that!!, anyway they went off and J did his acoustic bit, and got a young guy up on stage, it was so awesome, and then the guys came back ondid some more and went off again, then came back on!!!, they did an houir and a half altogether, just freaking amazing. Well we came out and got a drink and was going to leave, then found out that if our tickets were signed we were on for a signing!!!, omg all our tickets had been signed on the way in, amazing!!!, so we went in for the signing, the manager said he wanted to photograph all of us in warpaint and rave gear so would we stay behind!!! well we went to see the guys and Shannon loved the pink tees and the sweatshirts, and the guys signed our flag and Jared signed my tee cos he had done all the others so just did mine!! and I got a hug from Shan :), and we went over to wait, when all the others had gone, there was about 30 of us and we all got in a group and the guys came over, Shan apparently danced in front of us ( i missed it cos i was sorting the flag) and then showed off his new turquoise boots, he is so random :), and then after the pic, Tomo came over and said we should all look like we have just had the best time of our lives so i said " but we just have" so he smiled and said well just go wild, so we had a wild pic done too by Jon ( the manager), the guys chatted for a minute then left, Tomo had his hand heavily bandaged and i asked him what he had done and he said, "something disgusting...it was a biological experiment which went horribly wrong " lol, apparently he had hurt it playing :( anyway we left and waited round the back for a while cos that was were my hostel was and after a bit the guys came out in the car and had the windows down and waved as they left, perfect end to a perfect night, prob missed loads out but so much happened, it was just crazy. The 20 hours journey there and 24 hours back was worth every second, they really pulled out all the stops for their last European gig for the present, cant wait for the next tour!!!. The next day we all went to the funfair ( the guys had been there on the Sunday) and had an amazing day, then we came back to get our luggage and left Helsinki (very sad at leaving the girls) at 7.30 pm and we got hoome at 5.30pm the following evening, so a long long journey, but what an amazing experience, thank you guys, you are just incredible xxxxxxx

London GIAN....11th May 2008

Well we got up at 11pm and got ready, left at 3am and the car started playing up, kept cutting out and stuff, anyway managed to make the journey to London, lots of probs on the way and what should have taken us 4 hours took us 6, but whatever, we still got there, and when we got to Earls Court, we asked the sec guy where the car park was and he directed us to the back of the arena, some random car park which wanted £32 for 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, anyway we managed to park on the road for free until 9am the next morning. Well we walked back to the arena and spotted Viki, well not hard really as her hair was bright pink!!!, looked awesome tho. Then got in line, met up with the Italian girls and some other echelon we knew, then after a while decided not to wait in line so wandered off, met up with Hilda, Jenny, Nina, Therese, Sonia and Debora. They went off shopping and we went for lunch. Ended up going into the arena about 2.30, met up with Sam (Samir) and I sat on the floor making our flag. The girls went to watch Envy on The Coast. Me n Sam went to watch YM@S, they are so awesome and cant wait to see them next month. Well about 7 we went to get in the crowd, and got to 4 rows from the front but Glassjaw came on and it went mental, managed to last thru that, and Billy Talent came on, well the crowd, went just insane, struggled to keep my feet and was trying to hang onto Sam to keep her upright, in the end it was just too crazy, and we couldnt see anything anyway so we got out, then Sam realised she had lost her phone so stupidly i went back in, BIG MISTAKE!!, i got to near where i was and the crowd went to the right and i lost my footing and went down, got kicked in the head, so so scary, anyway the guys around got me up and i found my was to where we had been and everyone around amazingly made room so i could look for the fone, no chance tho, there was a lot of fones stolen that day, scumbags whoever did it, anyway managed to get out again but was a real mess. However we were all sorted by the time the guys came on, we stood at the side and the big screens were above us the camera was placed just below Shannon so the camera shots were awesome, specially cos he wore his kilt again and no shirt again!!! lmao, anyway it was a great gig, different to headlining ones cos they are a mixed crowd but amazing all the same. Anyway we left after the set and walked round the back and waited with Hilde etc, and there were a lot of fans waiting already, after a while the sec guys made us all leave, think the guys were gonna come out then decided not to!!! Well we sat for ages, and then a car pulled up and Shan got out and the crowd on the other side of the road just swamped him and blocked the road so he left after a couple of minutes, car nearly drove off without him lol. We waited for another hour but J & Tomo never came out, was really surprised cos it was the last gig in the UK so thought he may have done. Well we finally got to the hotel at 2am i think and I slept til 5, then later got ready, went n put money in the parking meter and went back to the hotel, me Sam & Viki went for breakfast then Viki went home :(, met Hilda etc and went to Camden, wandered around shopping then went for lunch, the girls were discussing Helsinki, and i felt so sad cos we werent going, then in a moment of madness I decided we were going to go, it was like whf, im a long time dead, the girls were going wild cos we were going, so another good (tiring) but good weekend :)..........Helsinki next !!! :) 

          


Edinburgh...9th May 2008

Well we set off with the car all loaded up and the glyphs on the car doors (they looked awesome!!!) at 11.15pm on the 8th, and after a very dark and very uneventful journey, we arrived at the Corn Exchange Theatre at 3 am. There were a few people already camped out, a lot had been to Asda and bought duvets and pillows the day before, it was a good thing too cos it was fairly cold and very damp. Well Jenny (Irish) had arrived the day before as had Sonia (that was a lovely surprise) and Elise, Emma, Trina and Sam were already there as was Karen and Katja, good thing that we always save places wherever we go for our group, me and Sam already had queue numbers so we just camped out at the front in our little space lol. During the day, more people turned up like the Italian Echelon girls, Konsu, Alis etc, it was so awesome to see everyone, and we also found 7amandapanda7, and Jenn & Nat (Russian Echelon) came, I went to get a knife from the bowling alley cos I had taken a cake for Trina as it was her birthday, and it was so mad :) In the afternoon me n Sonia went round the back to the bowling alley and then decided to wander over to the buses, well we got chatting to the security cos Sonia had something for the guys who were supporting, and as we were chatting, Shannon & Jared turned up and waved as they went in, well I had made Echelon bracelets for 15 of us girls, and I had made the same for the guys cos they wear that type of thing, and I had taken them with me, so after a short while, Shannon came out and was chatting n taking pics n stuff and when he got to us I gave him the bag with the bracelets in and had a pic done, wow that just made my day, he went in not long after cos everyone had started to come round and he would have been there all day. Well the day passed fairly quickly and Claire (clara1) turned up and that was just awesome, had been so looking forward to meeting her, so spent a little time with her, then she left to go home to change, and Hilda and Nina turned up, that was so good, and we all had presents to give, She had done me a tee shirt with the myspace pic of all little Shannon pics and a superimposed pic over the top, if anyone has been on my myspace, its on my page, well i loved it and took it in the gig with me. Anyway by 7pm it got a bit silly and people were just turning up and standing at the front, no barriers or security!!!??, anyway we all stood in a line across and got in that way, we got barrier, Tomo's side as usual, great Shan view lmao!!!, then after the support...We Are The Physics, really good, O Fortuna came on, that always makes me feel amazing cos I know they are about to come on. They were so amazing, and as Shan came on I saw he had his kilt on and he took his jacket off as soon as he sat down and NO SHIRT!!!!! ...not the longest set they have ever done but amazing anyway...oh yes forgot to say, while we were waiting for the guys to come on, the security were going along the line and putting red wristbands on the people at the front, and we found out it was for a meet and greet!!!
Well after the gig, in which Jared soaked us again and I looked so attractive all wet and soggy lol, we piled into the signing room, and queued up, anyway Hilda gave Shannon the birthday book that she had done with all messages and stuff from us, and he was blown away, he said he didnt know there was so many pics about of him, and Hil told him that he had more messages in his book than Jared had got for his, I bet that pissed J off lol. Anyway I got to him, and I just go to pieces, can chat to J and Tomo no prob but its like I lose the power of speech with Shan grrr, anyway I gave him the tee to sign and he thought it was awesome, then he saw my tattoo and smiled and said 'S' ?, and I said yes its for my daughter Sam, and he stopped smiling, so I waited a second or 2 and then said, well its for you too, and his smile came back, he is so the most awesome guy in the world!!! (ok fangirl moment over) then Tomo tried to sign the tee so i had to take it off him quick cos it was just for Shan to sign and gave him my glyphs wristband instead lol, then i went to Jared and he saw Matt's sig on it and said old school?, and I said no I went to see AVA 4 weeks ago, just to see Matt and he said 'that was really good of you' ?? anyweay I said he looked really well, but I wished he was here and he looked at me and smiled and said 'he made his bed' and then started chatting about my tattoo, and he thought it was awesome, think we could have chatted for ages but while J was in mid convo, the sec guy made me leave lol, J had a look on his face like ' oh ok then, but i was talking!!!' he was in good form.
Well we got outside and went round the back on the other side and eventually the guys came out and Shan was out ages, then went in the bus then J came out and Shannon got off the bus and went round with him, then they came over to our side and was chatting then Tomo came over, then Sam was taking pics and Shan walked away, and must have noticed she didnt get the pic so came back in front of her and wiggled his finger thru the bars and smiled, so she got her pic.
Anyway we said goodbye to everyone, and drove to the nearest services and slept in the car!! woke at 7am and drove the 4 hours home, went to bed at 4pm and woke at 11pm to start all over again..........London is next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would post a short journal to say a huge thank you for all my friends on here for all the love and support you have given me this last 6 months.
It was devastating when I lost my job and the couple of jobs I had after that left me so depressed but all the support and awesome stuff some of you said to me just really kept me going, and you never lost faith in me, and I will always be eternally grateful, there are some I would like to thank especially, but I don't want to start naming names, you know who you are, you really boosted my confidence when I felt like I wanted to give up, so I never did, and now I've turned a corner, I love my new job, just done a month today and its so good, so thanks again guys, you are the best friends I have, and also thanks for what you did to help Sam, I know she had bad times and you looked out for her, I love you all loads.

And for Sam, thank you darling girl for putting up with me when I was so bad, it cant have been easy living with me, but I guess I have made up for it this year with all your gigs. I love you more than anything in the world (even much more than Shan!"!!!! lol)

Hey,

Well as you know I went to see 30 Seconds To Mars last weekend, but have been feeling pretty crappy since I got back. I've had a cold, an eye infection and a chest infection, and it hasnt got much better, so I guess I'm not going to be on here for a few days, just need to sleep more and get myself fit again for Helsinki. Will promise to catch up with you guys when I'm feeling better, also I will post a journal about my weekend becuase it was mental! lol.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY....



Just imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this.


Many Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney.

The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is Called "Mate Match". The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant answers "yes", he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions.

The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner (with phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize.

One particular game, however, several months ago made the Harbour City drop to its knees with laughter and is possibly the funniest thing you've heard yet.

Anyway, here's how it all went down:

DJ: "Hey! This is Ed on FOX-FM.

Have you ever heard of 'Mate Match'?"

Contestant: (laughing) "Yes, I have.


DJ: "Great! Then you know we're giving away a trip to the Gold Coast if you win.


What is your name? First only please.

Contestant: "Brian.


DJ: "Brian, are you married or what?"

Brian: (laughing nervously) "Yes, I am married.


DJ: "Thank you. Now, what is your wife's name? First only please.

Brian: "Sara.


DJ: "Is Sara at work, Brian?"

Brian: "She is gonna kill me.


DJ: "Stay with me here, Brian! Is she at work?"

Brian: (laughing) "Yes, she's at work.


DJ: "Okay, first question - when was the last time you had sex?"

Brian: "About 8 o'clock this morning.


DJ: "Atta boy, Brian.

Brian: (laughing sheepishly) "Well..."


DJ: "Question #2 - How long did it last?"

Brian: "About 10 minutes.


DJ: "Wow! You really want that trip, huh? No one would ever have said that if a trip wasn't at stake.

Brian: "Yeah, that trip sure would be nice.


DJ: "Okay. Final question.

Where did you have sex at 8 o'clock this morning?

Brian: (laughing hard) "I, ummm, I, well..."

DJ: "This sounds good, Brian.

Where was it at?"

Brian: "Not that it was all that great, but her mum is staying with us for a couple of weeks..."

DJ: "Uh huh..."

Brian: "...and the Mother-In-Law was in the shower at the time.

DJ: "Atta boy, Brian.

Brian: "On the kitchen table.

DJ: "Not that great?? That is more adventure than the previous hundred times I've done it. Okay folks, I will put Brian on hold, get this wife's work number and call her up. You listen to this.


[3 minutes of commercials follow.


DJ: "Okay audience; let's call Sara, shall we?" (touch tones.....ringing....)

Clerk: "Kinkos.


DJ: "Hey, is Sara around there somewhere?"

Clerk: "This is she.


DJ: "Sara, this is Ed with FOX-FM. We are live on the air right now and I've been talking with Brian for a couple of hours now.

Sara: (laughing) "A couple of hours?"


DJ: "Well, a while now. He is on the line with us. Brian knows not to give any..answers away or you'll lose. Sooooooo... do you know the rules of 'Mate Match'?"

Sara: "No.


DJ: "Good!"

Brian: (laughing)

Sara: (laughing) "Brian, what the hell are you up to?"

Brian: (laughing) "Just answer his questions honestly, okay? Be completely honest.



DJ: "Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Now, I will ask you 3 questions, Sara. If your answers match Brian's answers, then the both of you will be off to the Gold Coast for 5 days on us.

Sara: (laughing) "Yes.


DJ: "Alright.

When did you last have sex, Sara?"

Sara: "Oh God, Brian....uh, this morning before Brian went to work.


DJ: "What time?"

Sara: "Around 8 this morning.


DJ: "Very good. Next question.

How long did it last?"

Sara: "12, 15 minutes maybe.


DJ: "Hmmmm. That's close enough. I am sure she is trying to protect his manhood. We've got one last question, Sara. You are one question away from a trip to the Gold Coast.

Are you ready?"

Sara: (laughing) "Yes.


DJ: "Where did you have it?"

Sara: "OH MY GOD, BRIAN!! You didn't tell them that did you?"

Brian: "Just tell him, honey.


DJ: "What is bothering you so much, Sara?"

Sara: "Well..."

DJ: Come on Sara..... where did you have it?

Sara: "Up the ar$e....."

After a long pause, the DJ said, "Folks, we need to take a station break"

And the drivers of Sydney almost crashed their cars laughing!


 

Got a text from Mish earlier to say her Broadband is not working and BT have said they will get it fixed in the next couple of days, so she has aked me to let you all know that she cant get on here till its fixed :(

Just a bit of a rant about being ordered to take down a 'professional' photo!!, it was the black and white Shannon live Drum Off one I posted in the last couple of days. I was sent it by angelicpoet way back in January but never got round to posting it til recently, anyway I got a comment telling me to take it down immediately as it was hers, apparently she works for some magazine....now this same girl...clairebear10... please remember her name cos she may come around and be bloody rude  to you too... she has done this before and I challeneged her then about watermarking and if she didn't want them posting then she should make sure no one took them, ie only being able to take them if you were an account holder or watermarking across the pic, and she was rude to me then too, actually she only opened a Buzznet account to have a go at me for posting!!!, obviously needs some more stimulation in her life... anyway my friend said she didn't take it, she took a still from a video, well I have sent the reply to this claire person and I have had a reply not only from her but the 'company' she works from, saying that if I dont know where the pics came from I shouldn't post and only post ones I have taken myself!!! so in order to have say Shannon pics, I should go to all these events then and take them myself!!, that is the most ridiculous statement ever, Buzznet would have no posts if we can only post pics and vids we take ourselves!!, they also said that they use invisible digital watermarking.... so how the f**k are we meant to see them if they are invisible!!, I was also threatened with my account being in jeopardy if the pic was not taken down within 3 days as they would ask for Buzznet to delete and they said they would take a legal course too, f**k all this over one pic!!!
I am very very close to deleting my account now as it is stressing me out, I now don't know what I can post and what I can't and am not going thru all this shit every time I accidentally post a pic with no watermark but belongs to someone!!

Just don't know what to do now, i'm so pissed off grrr

Just thought I would do a little journal to commemorate my year anniversary of discovering 30 Seconds To Mars!! (thanks to Gina G :)

It's been a hell of a year too, dont know the exact date I first heard The Kill but it was this week last year (had heard so much about them from Gina (mcrand30obsessed)!!, anyway I loved it, then saw the vid, and wow!! was still majorly into MCR at the time but I've since found the vid I posted of The Kill and Shannon featured in my comment so guess he was always there in the wings so to speak, not any more, he is my hero, like forever now, the best drummer on the planet, if any of you havent seen him play, please go search youtube, he is amazing.
Anyway just wanted to mark the occasion, Sam did hers last week so thought I would do mine, haven't been the longest running fan of this band but what I lack in time, I certainly make up with enthusiasm, just want to say thank you to the guys, love you all,  you are so amazing and really do love and appreciate your 'family' :) xxxxxx

I will try to keep this short but for those of you who know me, you know I tend to write epics lol!!!

Anyway the day started at 4.15am when the alarm went off grrr, got up and Sam was already up, too hyper to sleep, got ready and left at 6am, got to the Academy at 7am and tried to park, virtually impossible so threw Sam out of the car and went in search of a space. Was sat for a good hour before the next people arrived, they were Laura and Dalley, they had travelled the night before from Southampton, and are doing all the tour, sleeping in the stations as they travel!!!, awesome couple tho, them next was Danielle and Jay, then Brett and Julia??, anyway a while ago we had signed up for Modlife which is the AVA fan club run by Tom Delonge, and we tried to upgrade (payable of course!!) and my comp kept trying to throw me off so never managed to get on with my card details, and apparently the band are doing a meet and greet at every gig for those who sign up, so we found to our disgust that about 80 people were going to be let in 30 minutes before doors opened to do the meet n greet and they got to stay in, and get to barrier!!!, I was gutted cos at other gigs (30stm!!) if you were at the front, that guarantees barrier!! Well during the afternoon some of the guys came out, Matt was wandering around the bus so we got to see him, and David did the same, both so awesome, and Tom popped his head out a couple of times, he had been out but I missed him, must admit, we were there to see Matt so whatever, anyway after 12 hours in the goddamned awful weather, it was torrential rain at one point, they opened the doors to let us in, and when I looked up, there was Matt, so I shouted him and held up my arm, (had my 30 wristband on) and he pointed smiled andd said something about 30 Seconds, so I was well happy. Anyway we got in, and there was a space at barrier in front of Matt so I squashed Sam in there and stood behind her, You Me At Six came on and they were so awesome, I was amazed tho at how many guys were at the gig and what they were saying they would do to TOM!!!, and some of them had girlfriends with them, what is it about him, I keep looking but can't find it!!, anyway AVA came on and the place went wild, it was the maddest gig ive ever been to, really wild, just got battered, but had got to barrier myself by this time so it didn't matter, they did about 16 or 17 songs so a really long set, and the most amazing thing was to see Matt singing, never seen him sing before, not lead vocals but backing, it was awesome and at one point me n Sam had our arms up and he must have seen the bands cos he pointed (I think) anyway and smiled at us, just awesome. Most of the stuff I knew, a couple I didn't but it wasn't a problem. Anyway after it finished, me n Sam went over to the merch table and Josh from YMAS was there and he was just such an awesome guy, chatted about GIAN and he said thier stage was next to the main one so we would get to see them without having to move from our places, really happy about that, anyway took a pic of Sam with him and went out the venue, met up with some of the people who had stored stuff in the car and went over to the tour bus, wasnt waiting long, most people were at the other side, only a few where we were, and me n Sam were at the barrier, anyway David came up and chatted for a couple of minutes, then Tom came up, but got straight on the bus, then Matt, someone asked him about their guitar pic and he said to hold on, got on the bus and closed the door, anyway about 5 minutes later he got back off and came over to us, what an amazing guy, tho before he started signing anything he said hang on I have a booger up my nose, turned away and wiped it on the wall, I was laughing my head off, and Sam said to him, "I cant believe you just did that " or something like that, and he just laughed and said "well its better out than in", just so funny, anyway he signed loads of stuff and me n Sam got pics, must say I look real crap in mine but after 12 hours in the rain, 3 hours of having to fight to keep standing up in a mega wild crowd, I never was gonna look my best lol. Anyway perfect ending to an awesome day, have my 30 wristband signed now so just need the other guys to do that in Edinburgh. Im so glad I got to see Matt, and the band were just phenomenal, whatever peoople think of Tom, he puts on a hell of a show, well worth going to see.

Hi guys, well I know i've been crap lately at catching up with you all but I promise I will eventually, anyway the reason for this journo is to say I won't be around for a day or so cos I have my AVA gig on Thursday and we are going at the crack of dawn cos we want barrier again, so will not be on tomorrow night, will be hitting the hay early, and obviously not Thursday night cos I will be singing at Mattie lol, so hopefully will catch you all on Friday and the weekend, have fun guys :), love ya loads, Lynne xxx♥

I would just like to wish the most awesome drummer on the planet..Shannon Leto (like you didn't know lol) the best birthday ever, he is 38 today (09/03/08) ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON♥♥♥♥

Not only is he a phenomenal musician (also plays guitar and piano)  for those not too familiar with him, he is also a semi-professional photographer and did most of the photographic art work for the 1st album, so pretty amazing....oh and yes he is adorably stunning to look at too lmao!!, but to watch him close up playing live is one of the best things I've ever seen, he puts his heart and soul into what he does, and he is also, the nicest guy I have ever met, just lovely, patient, just ... well those of you that know me, just know :)

So I hope whatever you are doing today Shannon, its awesome for you... ♥ you xxxxxxxxx

Guess I wont be around as much over the next few weeks, started this new job and just don't know whether I'm coming or going, don't particularly like the job and the worst is that I have to pay all my own petrol going from place to place and I can only claim it back at the end of every tax year!!, and I missed this one so it will be next year now!!!, I've already spent about £15 and its only day 3!!, anyway if I leave soon I will have to pay all my training costs back so I guess im gonna have to put up with it for now, and keep looking around.
Anyhow, I'm doing stupid hours and the shop as well so I can pay bills so I have to go to bed early so don't get round everything, but hopefully it will settle down at some point, so if I don't answer you straight away, its not me ignoring you, its just im asleep on the floor cos i'm too tired to get up the stairs!!!! lmao!!!

Well I got my Kerrang! today as usual, it being a Wednesday and hoping to find a really good review in it from one of the 30 Seconds To Mars gigs after the fairly good write up in last weeks, although the interviewer was still a bit patronising, but even after Kerrang! gave them 1 K for their Electric Ballroom gig last January, they redeemed themselves by giving a more than deserved 4 K's for Brixton, they only gave them 3 K's!!!!!  now, Jared himself said at Leeds that he wasnt well, and this reviewer took that into account, and although nothing bad is said, it just seems to me that no critic will take this band seriously!!!!!, they are one of the most, if not THE most hardworking, talented, patient, fan orientated bands of today, I just wish these people would see beyond the "Hollywood" persona of Jared and realise just how much talent this guy has, and the amazing singular talents of Shannon, Tomo and Tim, there are after all 4 guys in a band not Jared Leto and his boys, they are all fantastic musicians in their own right, and somehow the critics/reviewers seem to lose that fact cos they are too busy smirkingly trying to do Jared down, I hate it when they try to talk about his acting when they should be talking about the band and vice versa, so come on all you journo's out there, please have an open mind to review these guys as the amazing musicians they are instead of trying to score points against Jared!!!!.

This journal is really long but please persevere with it cos the ending bit is awesome :)....

This started out soooo early, went to bed at 7.30 pm on Friday night and got up at 1am!!!!!, good job these guys are worth it!!. Got ready and set off at 3am, great run to Brum, all motorway. Snowed pretty badly on the way and the day had been forecast for sleet so we took blankets and extra clothes. Got there at 5.15am and as we pulled up outside the Birmingham Academy there was a lone fan stood outside in the cold, poor Sam (belgian echelon) she had been there since 2.30am, anyway we got the blankets out and then more came, we had just the most amazing day and sunny all day, but very cold, thanks to the guys I named in my last journal, we had been chatting to some of the crew drivers early on and one thought I was mad to be queueing so early, but was impressed that we were so dedicated, anyway a bit later on he came up to me and tucked something under my arm and said quietly, 'thats just for you'??? anyway when i looked at it, it was the Itinerary book for 30STM for this tour, OMG its amazing, all the flights, hotels, sound check times, journey times everything is in this book, I guess he thought I could be trusted not to give this info out cos its for the whole European & UK tour which is only half way thru, this is a real rare thing for a fan to have and I will keep it always!!! Well at 9am Claire (brainessister) called me to say she had arrived and then she turned up, it was just so amazing to see her cos I last saw her in Newcastle for MCR, anyway we had an awesome day and knowing we were barrier again made it so much better. Anyway, the line looked awesome cos loads of us had turned out in red (colour theme for Echelon in Brum) so it was impressive, they let us in at 6.30 (B/H Academy had a 10pm curfew) and we got right between Jared and Tomo, Claire was a bit further on nearer to Jared, been there for all 4 gigs now, awesome place for Shannon watching :), Lost Alone came on at 7.45 for half an hour and then the guys came on. It was so wild in there, the surging and mentalness started before the support band came on, and there were so many fangirls and fanboys grrr, all chanting 'Jared', like its just him, i got so mad, then they were chanting 'Leto', but saying it like 'Leetow' wrong again GRRR, anyway it was just awesome and he was really centering on the front row, anyway when The Kill came on, half way thru, he stared at me, pointed, nodded and jumped, his foot connected with my head and I started to go down, I was so scared, but managed to stay on my feet, god knows how, anyway I grabbed his foot and pushed myself up, and when i looked up he had bent right over and was right into my face singing, I was scared but laughing my head off!!!, anyway I managed to get up and he moved over, I was just a mess by then and my shoulder and head were a bit sore to say the least but managed to centre myself back onto Shannon who at this point was stood up drumming, it was just awesome to watch him. There was so many people being dragged out from behind me, it was the wildest one I have been to. At one point Jared wanted up all to turn round, like he was joking right?, I couldnt get away from the barrier never mind turn round. This was really the best gig I have ever been to, I said Manchester was but this was even better than that.

Anyway, no mention of a signing or anything, but whatever, I have had more than my fair share I suppose, BUT!!! when we were outside, Shannon came out with Tomo and pushed Tomo out to us and said to take pics, well I guess I took them of Shannon lmao!!! poor Tomo. Then a bit later Jared came out to do a question bit and Sam had done a book as a sort of journal with Echelon pics in and stuff and we all wrote a comment in it and we tied it with red ribbon, well she managed to get it to Jared YAY!!, but there were stupid fangirls asking really stupid personal ones grrrr, stab those bitches!!!, then he went in. We thought that would be it, THEN!!! Shannon came out again and did a signing, got some pics :),then walked off down the road saying he was hungry lol, well Sam ran after him and asked him if they had got the book and he said, 'Yes we did, and thank you' and smiled at her :), then he satrted to walk away, so i walked after him and stopped him, and asked if they were doiing a festival this year in the UK and he said, no, not Download or Reading/Leeds, so I said ok I wont bother getting tickets and he gave me a big smile and said OK, awesome!! was a bit puzzled at that but Sam said maybe he thought that it was awesome that I wouldn't bother getting tix cos they werent on.
Anyway he walked to the chippy!!!!! random!!! and was in there ages, we thought he had left thru the back way to avoid the fans, then Claire n Sam wanted chips and when we got there he was sitting inside with 2 very young girls who were really in his face, obviously too young to realise that he maybe didnt want them virtually sitting on him!!, well i didnt want to go in but Sam said she was hungry so we did, but didnt speak to him, then left. Some of the girls we had been with for a while were outside and we were getting a bit teary cos we were all going to have to leave soon and it was all a bit emotional, anyway, i turned round and Sam was in the chippy talking to Shannon, so after a while I went in and there was a discussin going on, and the only place I could stand was next to Shan, omg I was shaking, anyway the discussion was about the ballerinas at the Brixton gig, well apparently Sam was whispering in there about these 2 girls to Samia and Shannon shouted over to see what she was whispering about and started a conversation, we guess it was to distract these girls away from him, cos they were very in his face!!, anyway he had this discussion and at the end he said something like, 'that was the lesson for today, class dismissed' lmao, well Samia said to him she would see him tomorrow in Norwich and he said ok see you, and he looked at me, well i just said I wouldnt cos this was my last gig of the tour, and it was all over for me, I must have looked sad cos he looked at me, smiled and said " Come here and give me a hug" OMFG well I did and it was the most amazing hug Ive ever had, he is just the most amazing guy ever ever in the world, the pedestal he was on is now so high, no one will ever get past it. So when I got outside, I had a cry, silly me :), anyway we all walked off towards the car and at some point I stopped and turned round and said to Claire n Sam, your chips are getting cold and Claire said Jesus Christ, and as she said that Shannon walked past and said 'No Shannon' that was so funny. Well that was a long Journal and im sure i missed shitloads out but it really was the most amazing day of my life and Shannon Leto is the most awesome guy in the world, and I wasnt going to go, but when I got home I booked tickets for Give It A Name in London on 11th May, 30 are headlining!!!. Huge hugs to Claire who was real scared thru the gig, but had the best time ever, Love you hun, so glad you shared the amazing experience with us, and to all the guys Ive met along this awesome week and a half, love ya all too n see you in May!!!!! 

LIVERPOOL JOURNAL

My sort of home gig, had good vibes about this one, but I think they happened at Manchester!!!, however, Viki came up to stay the night before, she got here at 5 ish and we did dinner and watched Highway (surprise surprise!!), love Jared in it but hate the Shannnon part, weird..., anyway the gig day started at 5am, and we got to Liverpool Uni at 7am, the awesome friends we had made at Newcastle and Manchester had saved us places so we knew we were barrier again :) anyway, from about midday it started raining and never stopped, we were absolutely frozen!!! but we found out that A Beautiful Lie vid had come out that morning, so I went with Claire (frenchechelon) to her hotel to get her laptop, then downloaded the vid , in the afternoon we went into the student bar and saw Tim Kelleher and chatted to him and did photos, he was amazing and told us all about him being colour blind!! we told him about seeing the vid and he asked us to delete it as it was leaked a day early and the one we had was not the original!! anyway the vid is so awesome, if you havent watched it yet, you must cos its just breathtaking!!!
Well they let us in finally at 7.20 and we got barrier, except Sam decided to go Tim side instead of Tomo side and didnt get barrier, and it was a nightmare for her, she eventually got herself out and got to the back which was so bad as we had been there all day, but luckily she was ok, the setlist was:

Anyway they did a signing, awesome :) and then we went round the back and Shannon and Jared came out to do pics and I got one with Shan and Sam which was so bad so Sam ran up a ramp where Shannon was and said the pic didnt turn out, so he said I had to come up, so I really embarrassed myself and had to climb up the bars at the side of the ramp and I nearly fell off lmao!!, he was smiling and Sam said he told me to be careful!!! anyway we did the pic and then he saw some girls had spotted him and were running up, so i said thanks and he looked at me smiled and said no prob, omg he was right in my face!!, then he jumped off the ramp and went back to the bus, he was just amazing, then Jared came to us and Viki was having kittens, her face during the gig when Jared got so close, was awesome, looked like she had died n gone to heaven :) anyway Jared was doing pics but wanted groups so I took ours, after all I had my pic with Shannon so wanted the girls to have theirs, it was a pretty awesome night yet again, started to get sad tho cos the next gig was the last and all the awesome Echelon I had met were going on after the Birmingham one, but it has to come to an end at some point :)
Just to say hi to a few guys: Claire (frenchechelon) Sam (Samia/Charli), Jen, Kse, and Natalia (Russian Echelon), Jenny (Ireland) and Hilde, you were amazing guys, see you in May, Amanda,. you made me laugh so much, Zooonia, Linda, Chris (you are so mental :), and so many more I cant name....

Have had just the most amazing experience :)
